When I was an active member of another forum, (not C/A) I learned a lot from them. One of them told me how to quote to only parts I wanted to quote. So, I will let you in on how she told me to do it.
If you use the key [ along with the word quote and then another ] at the end of the word quote then paste in what you are responding to and then do the same again, only use the [/ and the word quote and the key ] at the end of that, it should work all the time. That is what I do now so that I can respond to one thing at a time.
