http://www.3abncampmeeting.org/index.html shows rotating pictures of Jim Gilley, Ken Cox, and Danny Shelton.
Thus 3ABN is sending a very clear signal that it is business at usual at 3ABN, and that they have thrown ethics to the wind.

When in the history of the Seventh-day Adventist Church have we ever seen the like, when someone gets caught red-handed doing so many things contrary to our faith, standards, and principles, and he still is in the limelight? When?

Quiz-time: How many of the three men listed have been divorced at least once?
Which ones are they?

I will take a guess,
Danny and Gilley

Whoever is "leaking" information to you is wrong--the board had no such type of vote.  Your informant is pulling your leg or relying on gossip.

The problems you perceive of 3ABN are within your own minds and imaginations.  If you can find something (anything! anything! anything!) in which to make 3ABN or Danny Shelton and his family look bad, you will believe it. Does that make it the truth? Nah, of course not.

The Ten Commandment week-end of meetings has been a blast. God has blessed 3ABN so much. I hope all of you are watching for a blessing rather than  trying to find something in which to hang your poor imaginations on.

Can you get us a copy of the Board Minutes, particularly the executive session minutes, and the vote counts that went with each motion? ANd while you are at it, can you tell me if they have abandoned the "affirmation clause" of the bylaws?
If not, did anyone lodge an official notice with secretary regarding their contrarian votes?

Wrong, Gilley is still married to the same lovely lady he married over 40 years ago.
But, there are two.

I should have followed my first thought and it was Kox and Danny, but then I over thought!!

Interesting. One must also question your informants and their reliability, or if you are speaking on the basis of your own assumptions. In any case thats the word on the street. You could be right, in which case I would wonder if there was a vote pertaining to asking someone to resign as opposed to firing them. Could you comment on that?

I am sure that the "Ten Commandments Weekend" has been a blast for you and many others. Its always fun to celebrate laws that you can use to manipulate others with when you are not held to them yourself. The famous old "do as I say, not as I do." Lots of fun I'm sure.

As for the "blessing" I am sure that many more people feel blessed after a Benny Hinn event than will ever feel blessed after one of those 3ABN things. Does that mean that they are blessed? No, it means that they feel blessed. So bless you and all the 3ABN and Benny Hinn junkies who get your feelings and highs off that sort of drug.

Now you can all argue with your allegations and speculations. But most reasonable people are going to believe someone who was there, talked to these people and personally experienced the spirit filled campmeeting. As opposed to your guesses, accusations and rumors.

Contrary to what you might think, many other people know other people who were there, and are there all the time, and they make fine witness' too what goes on as well.

Also, as for anything that took place there, spirit wise, anything that takes place inside a persons heart where ever they are only shows how GOD does miracles IN SPITE of men/women/leaders.

This has NOTHING to do with facts that are a result of leadership at 3abn. Nothing.

You believe what sounds good to you (as most humans want to) and what you want to be true. I think you better keep your mind open to ALL the facts and testimony before you settle on what feels good and fits your wanted reality.

I talked for a minute with Pastor Gilley. He said Danny had a nice break while building his house but he wanted to get him to spend a lot more time on the air. He said people are "demanding" it.

Surely Jim Gilley is not a coward that he can't stand up to people's demands and do the right thing.

In the Adventist Church when people have serious ethical problems, we don't keep them around like that, even when someone demands it. Gilley's been around long enough to know that.

Otherwise, if Gilley can't take a stand for truth and righteousness, he isn't the man for the job.

I would prefer to think that you are telling lies about Gilley.

To repeat, Danny dumped his wife for hiding his gun and talking too long on the telephone. He dared, I repeat dared, to transgress an explicit precept of the Lord Jesus Christ by divorcing his wife for grounds other than fornication. He has yet to confess his error before those who witnessed his deed. He replaced his wife with an alleged pedophile, and covered up the allegations. Etc. Etc.

Sam,

Would you care to share with us what led you to abandon conservative, Adventist, family values?

Which is precisely what David Asscherick said during his sermon on the 7th commandment yesterday.  Sam, if you were there, you MUST have heard that.  It was a FANTASTIC sermon, as usual.

Better yet, Can You?  I talked to one of the board members and got the answer.  Did you?  Your constant demands for proof of what you yourself do not have, make all of this a laughingstock. Even your little group here are bound to realize this, but just ignore it in their hate for 3abn.

All this is about yet another insinuation that the board almost fired Danny!  That is hilarious. More spin and speculation that couldn't be farther from the truth.  As I stated before, there were several board members in attendance and they couldn't have been happier with the whole TC/campmeeting week, including Danny's large part in it.

You have not talked directly with any board members, Danny or Jim G. Until you do, you would be better off not repeating second and third hand stories combined with your own spin, as it puts your claims to be a reporter on the same level as those that work for the Enquirer and say they are reporters too.

Please don't waste your time throwing in hints that maybe you have spoken with a board member.  We know that can't be true because your information is always wrong.

Certainly not everyone on the board is spineless.

You really need to be careful how you talk about the board members like that.

I returned today from my first 3ABN camp meeting. It was also my first time to attend a 10 commandment weekend. It was also my first time to see the 3ABN facilities. Notice I said first for all three but definitely will not be my last. Being there among brothers and sisters who come open mindedly to learn and reap spiritual refreshing is like a taste of what lies just ahead when we leave this earth behind us and spend eternity with our Lord and each other.

What I saw while there showed me a lot of what is being said about the 3ABN facilities has been false. I am amazed at how simple, yet utilitarian everything is; beautifully planned and used. I saw no extravagance anywhere. To realize that so few people involved there are used to reach so many parts of the world with God’s message for these last days shows the love and commitment they are giving to do the missionary work we all are to do. I heard a report from Russia that where 3ABN started airing a few hours a week, it went to 20 then 40 hours a week and soon 3ABN will be aired there 24 hrs. 7 days a week. From Russia 3ABN will reach other countries. No other SDA television station is reaching so much of the world.

I saw the many people who had come. I talked with some and learned of their commitment to continue to come and support 3ABN; doing their part in the missionary work we all are given to do. I came into a meeting, following a break, an hour early and still had a hard time finding a seat even though it looked like chairs were being added each day. Lunch lines became 2 and on Sabbath 4. The gymnasium was completely full of tables and chairs and still some had to wait until people finished eating so they could sit down. I didn’t hear one complaint. The woman in charge of meals saw that the lasagna was running out for Friday’s lunch, so she quickly prepared spaghetti only to find out that the lasagna did not run out but kept on being there. She called our attention and related to all of us there what the Lord had done. The Lasagna served twice the amount of people she had prepared for. Praise the Lord! The spaghetti did not go to waste but was added to the Sabbath evening snack meal.

I heard Spirit filled messages through the different speakers and individual’s who sang or played an instrument. It was a wonderful experience! I am thankful to all the workers at 3ABN in Thompsonville and in other parts of the world, those who support with contributions and prayer and especially our Lord Jesus Christ who binds all together in love and guides to the finishing of the work through the Holy Spirit.

Donna, you and your friends seem to have missed the point. No one here hates 3ABN, no one hates Danny Shelton or any of his extended family. It is not the evangelistic series and other gospel programming that anyone has a problem with, quite the opposite, I am certain that everyone here can support of much of the programming presented on 3ABN.

Jesus loved the sinner, but hated the sin. We can all love Danny Shelton and hope that he will be ready to meet the Lord when the time comes. What a disappointment it would be for all those attending campmeeting to have to ask Jesus why Danny Shelton is not in Heaven and have to see the evidence presented from the Heavenly books. The greatest miracle of 3ABN would be the public confession and heartfelt repentance of Danny Shelton.

What individuals have stated is that they hate is the hypocrisy that has gone on behind the scenes at 3ABN. If 3ABN is now as successful as you claim, than why does Danny continue the lawsuits against other Adventists?

Sister, I have highlighted various sections of your post, as I could not put any of this into clearer words than you have.

This is the message that everyone has been trying to get through to DS and the Board of Directors of 3abn all this time. Why oh why can't that see that this is the picture? I don't believe that anyone here wants personal pain for SD or the demise of 3abn. What they hope and pray for is that Danny and his cronies will confess, make right their wrongs, drop the lawsuits against their brethren and stop covering up sin in the camp.
