You know, I have a friend in real life that has a problem with doing just as you have described. Not only that but when you have done something this friend has always done something bigger, better or more outlandish than what I have done. Needless to say, I don't believe a word this friend says as far as things like that. Though, I know that if I need something, this friend is there to help me out.  :thumbsup: I would trust him with anything except for telling the truth about what this friend has or has not done with their life. When my friend describes their past history, I sum it up as hearsay. Once I've been lied to that is most all it takes for me to never trust them with anything other than a friendship. I do have other friends and family that I would trust with all my soul and even beyond. But that takes awhile before that happens. One must show the real, honest side of themselves before anything other than friendship occurs.

Sorry Bonnie......... gotta do it!!

Bonnie, I am sure he is quite an active member when he goes there. I knew someone over there also that raised 'red dogs' as well. Strange that the same type of name is on both forums. But, that is just me. I have quite a sharp mind when I want to use it. Lately, I use it quite often. The more information one can get and remember, the better off they really are. The better they can stand up and be proud of who they are.  :thumbsup: :rabbit:

If I remember I signed up for it when I first found it, but then couldnt get in some time later, so it may have been the 30 days had passed and I didnt notice/remember....

This whole thing is getting downright silly, to say nothing of pathetic, IMO.
<snip>

It is well known that there is controversy and resentment towards adventtalk for allowing facts and opinions to be presented concerning 3ABN. Instead of all the subterfuge and pretense that the less than subtle jabs are taken in good clean fun, where is the backbone.

<snip>
What I find ironic is that here, C/A name can be brought up without fear of competition,yet on C/A if you even try to type in adventtalk,it changes it when you hit submit to ClubAdventist. You need to sperate the words to advent  talk.
Please tell me you're joking, Bonnie!! :praying:

A script that changes "AdventTalk" to "ClubAdventist" in a poster's message is worse than censorship. It is deceptive!! (A poster may not realize that his/her post was changed.)

No joke. I first became aware of advent talk thru a pm at C/A, except I couldn't quite figure it out.
The sender told me of a new forum that looked very promising. It had been up for a bit at that time.One that appeared to be without the conflict that is asscociated with C/A. But it read, "you need to check out the new forum ClubAdventist. Strange as I was already there.
So checked back with sender and she responded the same.  Between us in pm's we both kept "saying" clubadventist"
Finally figured out if we put a couple of spaces between advent--talk it would  read as written.

Dont' know, don't really care. If no one there cares, then why should I care. As long as this forum does not do that. I am fine with it. So far it doesn't seem to be doing that. I can type in other forum names without them being censored. I guess our fine admin team do not find any reason to censor any other forum on here.   :rabbit:

I asked a friend who is a member of that forum if this was true. He tested it and said it is not true. He said as of a week ago he and another were PMing about this forum and they had no problem linking to threads here. So I do not know what is going on. It is not true anymore in any case.
