Penn State vs. 3ABN
« on: November 09, 2011, 07:55:48 PM »

In sports terms, it is my impression that Penn State has trumped 3ABN in their handling of the recent boy molestation charges against an underling in the football department.

The head football coach has been fired immediately instead of being able to finish out the year and then retire. . . and he's not the one who did the molesting.

The University President has also stepped down over the mishandling of the problem.

Contrast this with 3ABN's treatment of the child molester as well as the president at the time.

Does the message justify the difference, or should it have been enforced even more?

Should have been enforced even more.

Pundits are now discussing the multiple lawsuits that will be filed against the University.

Here's one response:

"If any adult is told that a child might be in danger, the duty to report is not to a supervisor but to the child protective service of the community. Forget about chain of command at a university or a church or a youth organization. One does not need to have “proof.” One needs to know how to dial 911 and report one’s honest concern."

Honestly,

If it has been reported to you that your coworker has sexually molested a child you have an obligation to follow through and make sure that the authorities are notified. Rick, is not without fault in the situation he worked with the man for over 15 years and knew of his sickness towards children, male children. I have the sneaking suspicion that there has been a lot of covering up at Penn State.

Here is another:

As the grandparent of five, I appreciate the warning advice against predators given by Frank Bruni.

I remain astounded that so many institutions (the Boy Scouts, the Catholic Church, Penn State) do so much to protect themselves and so little to protect the young people in their care.

There have been FIVE administrators fired from Penn State and the votes from the Board of Directors was unanimous on ALL five.

Accountability is swift with responsible and accountable boards. Note that the specific reason for Football Icon Joe Paterno's resignation is that he and the President did not do enough to INVESTIGATE the claims.

I specifically declare that Chairman Thompson of 3ABN did not do enough to investigate any claims when it came to the anointed one!!! Nor did the board do enough, in fact arrogantly did nothing, to investigate claims made against the anointed one...despite many direct demands to do so...stuck head in sand and burned through several million needless dollars...could have simply FIRED Danny Lee Shelton, Tommy Ray Shelton and the Chairman Thompson.

Given that Penn State Board moved so quickly and decisively, does logic dictate that they represent the REAL THREE ANGELS MESSAGE?? They certainly waxed hot!!!

And if that is true, then can we deduct that the Three Angels Broadcasting is the false Three angels Message? They certainly waxed "LUKEWARM to COLD"!!! And what happened to the Lukewarm? Yup, spit out!!!

So then, should we Sir Mise that the project developed to counteract the counterfeit is in fact THE COUNTERFEIT???

Here, Here!!! The Counterfeit is fully exposed by the Board of Directors of Penn State University!!!

Good point, Gailon!

However it appears that there was coverup in the past at Penn State also.

Quote

"And, despite the fact that Ray Gricar had the mother of one of the alleged victims confront Sandusky while police listened, the 1998 report on Sandusky was labeled “unfounded” by the District Attorney’s Office, reports the Patriot-News."

So coverups regarding homosexual pedophilia appear to be more common than otherwise -- there is the Catholic church, also.
