Response to Steffan's vitriol
« on: February 25, 2011, 09:06:20 AM »

One of the most vitriolic Danny defenders writes as follows:

Quote from: Steffan
Over on [not]at, Gailon says

Quote
It will require the participation of a lot of players contributing to any serious settlement negotiation just as it did for the IRS case.

Those bolded words describe Gailon as one bold liar. Just like his pack of liars have been demanding proof, how about if Gailon can produce even one shred of evidence of what he means by "just as it did for the IRS case"

The IRS came, took huge amounts of documents, and in the end, found nothing. There was no settlement. Does Gailon seriously think that his repeating a lie again and again will somehow make it true?

I'm calling on that convicted embezzler to show some evidence - but he cannot, because all he can flap is his big mouth - nothing else. He must really be burned up that he somehow can't bring down 3ABN, despite his best efforts. But what he has shown is the unsavory pack of characters he associates with in his quest to shut down God's work.
A pack that includes : [BP: I think it the better part of wisdom to omit this part of Steffan's rant.]

In the end, that pack of demon-led jackals will get their just desserts - from God.

I'm calling on Steffan to show some evidence - but he cannot. First of all, Walt Thompson testified under oath that the IRS would not provide any evidence to support Thompson's mere assertions that some unnamed lawyer told someone that the IRS had concluded its investigation. So there isn't any such evidence.

Despite that fact, Simpson told the court that the IRS vindication tale was "demonstrably accurate." Simpson's assertion has essentially been proven false by Simpson's total failure to demonstrate the accuracy of Thompson's mere assertions with any evidence whatsoever, despite having over 2 1/2 years to do so.

Recall also that Danny and 3ABN in the summer of 2008 opposed our efforts to subpoena evidence that would have substantiated their IRS vindication assertions. If it really happened, why give donations to 3ABN to lawyers in order to pay those lawyers to oppose our efforts to substantiate their assertions of IRS vindication?

Since Simpson personally admitted to me Sometime between June and October 2008 that the IRS never looked at the 1998 real estate deal, because that criminal investigation wouldn't have gone back that far, the IRS never vindicated Danny and 3ABN.

More recently, last month, Simpson admitted or asserted in his appellees' brief that the IRS determined that there was no criminal liability, which means that there still could have been civil liability. Thus, once again, Simpson essentially admitted that Thompson's IRS vindication tale was a farce.

Our sources indicate that the IRS got paid an awful lot of money, not that the IRS completely vindicated Danny and 3ABN. Given Thompson's, Danny's, and Simpson's lack of hesitancy to fib and prevaricate, I fail to see why our sources would be less trustworthy than these three.

P.S. Is Steffan trying to take down 3ABN by spouting off such hateful, spiteful, vitriol?

Well, at least somebody over there is alive and kicking.  The last time i checked a couple months ago nobody had posted anything.  On that particular thread no one had posted in four months.

Since they no longer have a reason to file motions against 3ABN, it's interesting to note that Bob Pickle is over on his private site claiming to have received a call from the attorney representing Alex. Why would the attorney for Alex call Mr. Pickle and tell him a suit has been filed and that there was going to be a press conference; Bob tries to create the impression that the call was "just out of the blue." Has Mr. Pickle found a way to insert himself into this case as well? He just won't be happy until he gets his way and destroys 3ABN (maybe even the church at large). Very sad that he is so driven to fight God.

And so once again we find that the Danny clones are so morally bankrupt that they are left with accusing us of fighting against God because we are concerned about child molestation, private inurement, kickbacks, and deceit.

I agree with Ted Wilson that we need to have revival and reformation. And such revival and reformation will result in our being brought into repentance and obedience to all Gd's commandments. And calling for revival and reformation, and obedience to God's commandments, is NOT fighting against God.

It reminds me of some currently popular political leaders' assertions that "it's all ********'s fault", no matter what the subject matter is.

So now "It's all Bob Pickle's fault...", no matter what misfortune befalls 3ABN?

Or is 3ABN finally starting to realize some results of its past bad choices?

What he forgot to say was, "The church doesn't believe in lying, unless of course it serves my purpose."

Almost verbatim what a certain Danny Shelton said to me some years back.

Did covering truth state where I had lied?

What uncovering truth said above, Johann claims this is what Danny said to him. I don't believe it and never will. Sorry Johann, but what you say is not working. We who know Danny, know his reputation of being truthful. The employees at 3ABN know it too.

Here are the seven steps of lying below. Do you fit in these patterns? These seven steps come from a Professor at Andrews University.

1) First lie could be just a little white lie. But it is like a match which sets a good fire.

2 Then you start to lie to protect yourself. You rationalize it away as necessary.

3) You then develop a habit--even in trivial things you will lie. It becomes easier and easier to do so.

4) Now you are self-deceived. You begin to believe your own lies!! You now tell yourself it is okay because the truth is "unaccessable." At this stage you don't want to know truth.

5) You rationalize and justify your lies--and suddenly your lies are now virtuous!! They are a good thing to do. Even helpful to others.

6) You have now developed a technique--increased difficulty not to lie at all times. It is set in cement. You attract other liars as friends.

7) Now it is your DUTY to lie. Now it is your DUTY to kill the person who calls you a liar who would dare question the validity of what you say.

The vitriol continues from 3ABN, according to this. I fully believed in 3ABN when Owen Troy asked me to join the staff there. After "the" problem started I talked to Owen about it. He seemed to be shocked, but as we talked he did not seem to be interested in knowing what was the truth. He said he would talk to a certain person to find out what would benefit 3ABN in this situation.

I talked to Walt Thompson. He was not the least interested in knowing what was the truth, but only what Danny Shelton would accept and what would keep him going.

I "talked" to Danny Shelton through e-mails. That was when he told me what mattered is what benefited him personally, and thereby 3ABN. This was what he regarded as "truth".

So what you are claiming an Andrews professor has proclaimed about how lies develop seems to me to be the exact pattern which has brought 3ABN into the problems they have been fighting at least the last seven years.

Back in 2005 I met John Stanton at Springfield. Through our conversation it became evident he was conditioned through the same pattern. I am not thereby saying that all of these people are enmeshed in that same pattern, or are lying themselves. But they seem completely convinced that someone who keeps telling lies is stating the truth.

When I was still at 3ABN in 2003/2004 I understood preparations were made for a 3ABN rally in the Nothwest. Suddenly the local pastor wanted to cancel the rally because he was told 3ABN accepted tithe money from people. Then I was told Danny Shelton wrote to inform that pastor 3ABN did not accept tithe and that saved the rally. As soon as the rally finished 3ABN seemed to be accepting tithe money again.

What was the real truth? Who was avoiding the truth by using the principle you got from your Andrews professor?

There are a couple of times I have discovered that I have given a wrong answer to questions, caused by misunderstandings. I have then in each case done my best to rectify the fault and ask forgiveness. If you have ever caught me saying just a small white lie that I have not confessed, I'd like you to let me know what it is, and if you are saying the truth I'll acknowledge it openly and ask my Lord to forgive me. I do not want anything like that to remain between myself and other people nor my Lord.

Incredible, isn't it?

Danny claimed that he could prove that Linda's car was titled in his name too, and it wasn't.

And Danny has a reputation for being truthful?

The problems at 3ABN go back a long time.  I worked there in 1989 and 1990 and the problems were starting to show then.  Danny got rid of his brother Kenny and his sister Tammy by manipulating the board.  He also refused to sell any of the "Behold the Lamb" tapes to Kenny.  I don't know for sure what happened to them, but Danny had ordered them destroyed.  I was brought to 3ABN by Kenny and Clarence Larsen.  Never got along very well with Danny and found him somewhat arrogant and someone who had to be number one all of the time; whether it was at the ministry or playing sports.

I have no doubt God used him to raise up that ministry.  Now I just hope and pray he will come to his senses before it is too late for him.  I also pray the members of the board, many of whom I know, will also come to their senses and straighten the ministry out.  If they don't, God will and He will do it in a most marked manner.
