Do we all get a network based on the color of our skin or nationality?  How about Germans from Russia, etc?  Really, I don't get it.  I know that my black friends and I serve the same Lord and read the same Bible.

Along with the programming Yvonne says she'll have on money management, will Yvonne speak out against the evils of receiving kickbacks? Or will Danny not allow that?

How much non-tithe funds will Danny be contributing toward the network out of all he got from kickbacks and royalties?

And how does Yvonne relate to Danny's corruption? Has she put her foot down and told him that enough is enough? No more covering up child molestation allegations, no more suing people concerned about the corruption, no more dumping wives for talking too much on the telephone, no more nasty emails, no more private inurement, no more kickbacks, etc.?

I doubt they are nearing any end, except perhaps an end to the status quo. They will go on. I just wonder if Yvonne knows that by placing herself in that position, she risks suffering the same fate as one of her predecessors.

Could you or someone else please tell us how this is a new network when supposedly Wintley Phipps started an urban network a number of years ago?

How much money did 3ABN give Wintley to start the urban network? Whatever happened to the money?

Well, actually your answer is within your question.  I can speak, because 3ABN definitely doesn't appeal to my demographic, neither do they mean to and that is ok.  We can all serve the same God, but there are still subcultures within the church, or any denomination.  There are differences it the way that blacks and whites[europeans] worship.  That is a fact, that I have heard pointed out when ever a caucasian pastor comes to speak at our church.  It is just a fact.  It is part of the reason why there still exist regional conferences here in the US.  Only thing is that people are free to join which ever church makes them feel comfortable, where they can praise and worship God as they please.

Now that being said, there is also still a good amount of racism within our churches, and with there being differents approaches to evangelizing black potentional members, those are not often addressed within a "mixed" conference.  I know, I belong to one(Another reason why there still main regional conferences.)   I know some of this may be a bit difficult to understand, but please trust that I what I am talking about.  Unless you have experienced racial discrimination within as well as without the church, it is nearly impossible to understand. I was born and raised in the SDA church, and would not worship no other place, neither trade my memories growing up SDA.  However, we got issues, and race is one of them.
