Perhaps last Wednesday, August 18, Jim Gilley, reported to be 3ABN's current CEO and president, received a demand letter from some attorneys representing molestation victims of Tommy Shelton, offering to negotiate a settlement without litigation.
The letter made clear that the offer to negotiate a settlement without litigation was only available until September 10, and that if a settlement was not reached within 30 days, the chances of settling after that were pretty slim.
So the big question now is, What will 3ABN do? Will they take these attorneys up on their offer? Or will they fight it tooth and nail?
I wish there was a way to poll 3ABN's donors to see which choice they would prefer. After all, it will be donor money that gets spent either way. Which route would be a better use of donor funds?
