Hmmm,
so what's the point to compare it? I thought it was just for Adventist that they could air between themselves problems that arise, or good news and like questons of religion  with the value of outsiders venturing in for their own interests.  What does it have to do with worth, or ratings? and who cares about it? or is the point a way of sarcasm of it's worthlessness from "ones own point of view". I think it has been quite useful to get out the inner webs of what is making SDA lean one way or the other in their trail of "History". Some is not so good and you sure do not find it all good on "Hope". and by the way and off the subject

---what ever was the problem with Adventist coming up with their own TV programing called " SDABroadcasting"  SDANational Broadcasting or SDAWorldwideBroadcastin. plain and simple and forget the "Slogans"  as we were already given the name by inspiration and then give programing downright foundational, and only those that cherish it run it.  I know what can attract true seekers and what attracts them  and don't deceive them with programing that "anything goes". and what is so good was LS knew what to do to give calming, down to earth and creating mindful thoughts that drew.  Create what we have in examples of that and not try to copy what other religions do to impress.  Then watch what will take over---.

Why can't SDA figure it out? and did anyone ever wonder why, Mennonites, Amish still don't wear jewelry?? lol what happened to SDA that fell from Grace in that mode??? Dress and Jewelry???That is just one aspect of what I am talking about in SDA. There is nothing wrong with the women of Mennonites dress in simplicity, comfortability and cleanliness, and refined. and they still look like women, beautiful women, no hair bleached, spiked, messey and goofiy looking through one eye with hair covering the other. Is that vivid enough?  I have great respect of their walking the talk, they just as yet do not have the correct day or eating habits for me. Amish I do not agree nothing except the jewelry.  I would not send a dime to "Hope" as they have downed our "simplicity" and the church manuel the same. If there is to be any change of this SDA better get on it or will it be like "foretold"?? a person in your position needs to put the bug in somebody's ear. I am still proud of my foundation of Seventh Day Aventist and voice with no reservations of what has been done to it. and I don't mean to belong to the suspender gangs or "clans" either.

I can't see how AT can be really rated. We all come here for different reasons.

AT has a higher rated value than several other SDA websites.

Johann, you have the link to any websites you want evaulated.  Simply plug the website you want evaulated into the URL that I provided.  Replace the Advent Talk portion of the URL with whatever website you want evaulated.  This is not limited to SDA websites although that websites evaultes other SDA websites.  I evaulates secculare websited.

NOTE:  It gives AT a higher rating than some political websites that have a lot of people visiting.

And thanks Fran for suggesting that it was typical of me to point out that AT gets higher ratings than some others.

The other site mentioned is "worth" a little over half this site.

And both are "worth" more than another well known Adventist board that has a lot more members and traffic than either.  So
I have to wonder on what the evaluations are based.

Gegory, I am not well versed in the SDA sites. What are they all called. I can't write their names if I don't have them. That is what I meant by "link"

I wonder if 3ABN would pay $5,000 forAdventTalk.com?

Valuation depends on more than just what another might pay for it, but definitely not what some sight valuator trying to set commercial value to some "for profit" standard.

For those who participate in the AdventTalk blog, it has unlimited value, not in dollars, but in the comfort and companionship the sight brings to diverse members throughout the world of SDA heritage interested in revival and reformation and social intercommunication on a host of issues. It has little commercial value yet it is of inestimatable value for the members and participants.

Therefore, we spurn the estimate of value as VALUELESS!!!

Gailon... You talk about diverse members, but you sure don't tolerate diverse opinions well...

I find that a ludicrous statement with no factual basis...I welcome with open arms open and
frank discussion of issues, but all discussion needs a basis for debate.

It would appear that you despise opposition, and such a spirit raises questions as to it's source
and sustainability.

If you are opposed to my absolute Faith in the Bible and the Spirit of Prephecy, simply admit it
and state the reason for your opposition. I would hope that we all would be able to defend our
positions...but, understand that the Bible and The Spirit of Prophesy should be the foundation
of every Seventh-day Adventist's Faith and is the epicenter of the 27 Fundemental Beliefs.

In other words, one cannot be a Seventh-day Adventist and not have a Foundation of Faith
based upon the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy.

That is correct, I firmly believe that those who do not believe in the Fundemental Beliefs of
the Seventh-Day Adventist church are not REAL Seventh-day Adventists...I beleive it, and
assert it with vigor...if it is vicarious, so be it. I take pride in the belief and trust I will always
believe it, even to the threat of death or other physical harm and do so in the full Faith and
Belief that to do so will ultimately lead to the ultimate test of Faith.

Despise opposition? I know better. Opposed to your absolute fath in the Bible... Nope

Opposed to your absolute faith in the spirit of prophecy... nope.

It's how some people present the spirit of prophecy that makes people want to shy away from it. I had a bible teacher tell us that the SOP is equal to or greater than scripture...
