Don't worry about a thing. Danny's cornered now. This attorney team has him studied and pegged down. He can't stall anymore. He's a broken man with no influence over anyone. I just hope they nail Gilley, Molly and Lomacang too for their knowledge and attempts to cover this up. They are guilty.

Danny even sued two guys as part of the cover up. Imagine that!

If they settle with the victims, they ought to settle with us too.

I wonder how this year's '3ABN Homecoming' will look like? Of course they will try to make it look all joyous. But we know better. It probably will be the last one.

Danny has himself in quite a "pickle", doesn't he?

Next thing you know, someone may try posting a picture of Danny Shelton in a pickle jar.

Alex,

You know....for people that wear the towels on their heads..a place where they all go and take off their shoes and bow down to a different "tune".

It really would not make a difference if a mosque was there in other words cause "sin" is "sin" no matter where you go to. all  :horse:s eat hay the same way and waste it to the ground of course unless a horsethief comes and puts them to the track to earn their own keep....

How do you know that Byron and Gail Wood knew the history behind Tommy and still allowed him to come to Dunn Loring? I grew up under this man for 10 years. I just can't imagine this. Do you have proof?

They in fact did know about Tommy. The proof is their own admission to that. They was keenly aware of Tommy's past.

Mrst, Tommy himself states the following:

Tommy, himself states this in his letter to Dunn Loring:

This statement could mean no other than Bro. and Sis. Wood who headed up the Ministerial Council of the Church of God, Inc., at the time. These two statements imply either irresponsibility, or cover-up on the part of the Woods. Let me set the record straight. Bro. and Sis. Wood was neither irresponsible nor were they part of a cover-up. They acted in good faith both in my ordination with the Ministerial Council of the Church of God and in the call to be pastor of the Community Church of God.

They called me in the middle 80’s after hearing of allegations to offer prayer and support and yes, years later called me to come to Dunn Loring knowing of the allegations. They based their decision on information they had. For example they knew of a police investigation that yielded no evidence and resulted in no charges. They were aware that my chairman of the board was a well respected State Patrolman and would have known the details of the investigation, and supported me fully. They also knew people that they respected who were supporting me like Ben Jordan who was part of the congregation at the time and actually went to the police to testify in my behalf. Things like the above caused them to be confident in calling me to come to Dunn Loring. NO FAULT can be laid at the feet of Bro. and Sis. Wood.

Adam,
When was this letter written? Can we be sure Tommy is telling the truth?

Yes, I do believe he is telling the truth. Not because I think he is trustworthy, but there are documents to prove that this was in fact the case.

I stand by my previous post, Byron and Gail Woods are guilty as sin for allowing Tommy to pastor. In my opinion their license to preach should be revoked. I believe they should be held accountable for their lack of understanding in this situation. They should be very proud that they ALLOWED these acts to happen at the church that they founded and built. It's disgusting.

Adam,

My approach throughout this scandal has been that if someone says something that is pretty damaging to their own cause, it's probably true. So I have no reason to doubt Tommy's assertion that the Woods called him in the mid 1980's. Other things he says, I would not so readily accept.

But one thing I have wondered about is why there are so many ties between Dunn Loring and Ezra. Why would the Woods call Tommy in the mid 80's?

Yes, the Woods knew about the allegations. Whether they believed the allegations to be true or not, that's another matter. But it is certain that they knew about the allegations at some point in time.

Full fledged panic is setting in at the other site. Now it's "extortion." And even though Tommy has admitted he molested these two young men, they still talk about Tommy's "accusers." It has even been predicted that the lawsuit, if there indeed is one, will be thrown out.

I seem to remember another prediction that Tommy would "without a doubt" be found innocent. Even Tommy didn't agree with that one.

Who does proffaber think he is? Just a want to be know it all? An Oxy-moron if you ask me.  He has no clue, so his input is worthless. As if a judge is going to throw out a case, because he ask's them too.   That has got to be the most funniest delusions I have ever read.
