bite me
interjection

•a command, similar to "Go to hell!" (i.e. "Leave me alone!" "Go away!" etc.) Note: not considered especially vulgar, but usually considered inappropriate in more formal settings. Also bite my ***.

The sarcastic expression 'bite me' means the same as get bent, get lost.

Seems to me that Cindy does not realize this is a derogatory term.

Samuel, since you are a new member, perhaps you aren't aware that the "bite me" incident was discussed at some length in another thread.  On page one of this Hypocrisy thread, Snoopy linked to the post in the Tommy Shelton Arrested thread in which Cindy used the phrase:

http://www.adventtalk.com/forums/index.php/topic,1820.msg23503.html#msg23503

While I have never heard of the phrase being used as a "sarcastic demand for oral sex" as George pointed out, Cindy apologized and posted a couple of definitions that she said was the meaning as she understood it:

http://www.adventtalk.com/forums/index.php/topic,1820.msg23528.html#msg23528

I hope this information gives you a more complete picture of this incident.

Cindy and Donna,

I still think you ought to know something about who Polly is, and perhaps even who Huh is. Polly was identified as posting from Fowler, which is only 8 miles from Oxford. Really, now, how many folks around Oxford and Fowler would be that well connected to the Danny clones? Whoever was posting on Topix as Polly, you ought to have some idea who it might be.
Not to mention the fact that "Polly" first asked who Glenn Dryden was, and if he was a victim, then less than 48 hours later posted that "Pastor Glenn Dryden" had made the same allegations against me as he did Tommy. Wow, "Polly" really educated herself in 2 days!

And I have no reason to be suspicious?  :dunno:

Makes a lot of sense don't it?  She learned an awful lot in two or three days.  :-\

I would like to add my welcome to AT, Samuel Thomas!   I know a Samuel Thomas.  Are you perhaps the one who was at OC around 1975-78?

I am replying to the insinuations made against Cindy and I about whether one of us is or know of a Polly who posted on Topix. Upon checking out as to whether there is a library in Fowler, there is. But, a mystery. Also was checked as to whether there is an internet provider in Fowler. There is none unless it is privately owned. So it is very suspicious that a Fowler address would even come up.

Well...it appears another nameless coward has resorted to suggesting I'm a homosexual. Some of you people over there really need to get a life. So, Cindy, are you going to deal with it or am I?

BTW, to all those who might think they can call my church and launch an attack that way, I have already told my pastor and our deacons everything, I have shared it with my Sunday School class, and I am talking individually with the parents of our youth as well as other adults in the church. My church has told me that I have their full support, and that they will not take kindly to anyone contacting them trying to trash me. So, go ahead and call or write if you want. You won't like the results. In fact, I don't think anyone who won't even sign their name to a post even has the guts to call or write.

Not necessarily. My internet service provider is in one town, while Topix says I am posting from another town about 8 miles north of there. Topix takes your IP address and then maps it to the closest town they have a forum for.

Thus, someone in Oxford could theoretically post on Topix and be labeled as being in Fowler.

That's right Bob as our web site shows sometimes when I get on that it appears even farther away then 8 miles sometimes I could not see how it came from a different town many, many miles away. Other people that I know are on come clear from a different area.

I posted from Ohio last week and the screen said I was in Arkansas.

Both of us have told the truth. Neither one of us is Polly nor do we know anyone who could be Polly. In fact we know of no one for hundreds of miles around who could be Polly. Since there are those who don't want to accept that then it would do me no good to say anything more on the subject.

So, theoretically, someone Topix says is posting from Fowler, IN, could actually be posting from a completely different state, which renders the Topix location information rather useless as evidence of any supposed connection between Polly and Cindy and Donna, right?  So, since this is the case and since Donna has already stated that she doesn't know that Topix member, it seems it would make it a rather pointless issue to continue to pursue.
