I am against abortion and if the Democrats believe in a Womans rights- Now that a difference in semantics. A woman has a choice- She has LOTS of choices to NOT GET PREGNANT, even a MORNING AFTER PILL. Therfore ABORTION should NOT BE AN OPTION.  So as long as a candidate runs on that ticket and believes that way, I can't vote for him.   END OF STORY, ONCE AND FOR ALL

Yes and a very narrow mind that has been colored by the thoughts of others. As long as the woman has her own body that will be an option she can consider or use. Some things must be left to personal choice because to not do so would put me in a position of controlling ones personnel being. I asked you who would you vote for, or maybe you don't vote at all? Because I can tell you that age and wisdom has let me know that everyone has a down side. I DO NOT BELIEVE IN ABORTION EITHER, BUT I ALSO DON'T BELIEVE IN MY RIGHT TO CONTROL ANYONES BODY. FROM A THEOLOGICAL STANDPOINT I CAN BLELIEVE THAT CONSEFPTION STARTS AT THE ONSET WHICH WOULD EVEN MAKE THE MORNING AFTER PILL A SIN. But I have never tried to push my belief on anyone but rather I have tried to lead by example with my children and family. Statements like " She has lots of choices not to get pregnant" seems reasonable if we were robots, but we are not. What life and time teaches you is that we are fallible human beings all capable and probable of making mistakes. There is no reasonable explanation for sin except that we are fallible and incapable of rational thinking at times. But even God who is all wise and all knowing leaves us with certain inalienable rights even if they cause our demise or personal harm.

A person could argue that on same principle, it is my money that I earned and it is not your right to take it way from me to give to a symbiotic creature who is unable to live except by taking from me. Also, they might be better off to die than to live a miserable exitence. Their body, my money.

Obama would turn it around, like magic.  There is no way anyone would have been able to do anything that quickly.  I love talk shows and discussions on politics, etc.  But sometimes, I just turn off my TV/radio, because I don't do remedial very well.  Just no patience for it.

The Americans have long since been mandated to carry insurance, you seem oblivious to that fact. I work at the hospital and it is mandatory that we carry insurance or we lose our job. For years it it has been mandatory for you to carry car insurance. And your taxes have been lower since Obama got it office; I can't even believe you said anything about taxes. And Obama hasn't been in office two years yet, no reasonable person would expect it to have been turned around completely by now. And the trillions of dollars that you are talking about are phased in and as of yet have not been spent. You are just using talking points that others have given you. You would be stupid enough to vote back in the people that got you in the mess in the beginning so that they can finish the job.

Christian, I have been voting since 1972, but I do not believe that allowing a woman to take the life of her unborn child complicates the sin she has already she committed. I have a step-sister who has used abortion as a means for birth control 6 times. That is absolutely wrong. I also do not want my tax dollars paying for abortion.I am 56 years old and the mother of 1 child. I have seen many women who should NOT have been mothers and others who SHOULD have been and couldn't. The laws on adoption in the US are totally MESSED UP. BUT, for all this, I still DON'T  believe in abortion, sorry.

You know mrst.  I understand what you are saying completely!  I also know of a few women who have used abortion like birth control, and do not believe that children should pay with their lives for the mistakes of adults.  That is just sick.   I also know that these women always seem, to me, scarred on some level.  I won't go as far as Frank Perretti's book, "Tilly".  but is just not right.  I, personally, am against abortion and faced with a situation and in my right mind would never have one.  However, on the other hand, I still have reservations about legislating this for women.

It was not any of them who our expousing this currect junk!  They have no credibility with me.  Simple.  They had nothing---NO THING--to say when the Bush administration was putting us in ALL of this mess.  Now they want to talk when Obama can't fix the mess your preferred administration created.....give me a break!

I will begin with the fundementally heretical statement that BOTH PARTIES HAVE WORKED HARD TO GET US INTO THE MESS WE ALL SHARE TODAY. If you would like a history I shall be happy to open thine eyes to the truth of both parties, a picture that I can paint is red blood and trillions of wasted money that we all contribute too. And by the way, the current crisis really has its roots as far back as 1933, so be ready for a very hefty history. Since I teach a seminar on the subject and the the options to deal with the bloody mess for victims of the housing crisis, upon request I shall be happy to bore you with the details.

And I will continue my heresy with the clear assertiion that NEITHER PARTY HAS ANY ANSWER TO THE EMPIRE OF DEBT AND DEBTORS THAT WE HAVE SO DILIGENTLY PURSUED. And Adventism has just as diligently pursued the satanic "art of leverage",  all contrary to the Good Counsel's of Ellen G. White 100 YEARS AGO!!!.

Now I will point to the statements of the Old Gray Haired Lady that wrote all those "Red Books" a/k/a "unread books" and point out that she not only predicted it over 100 years ago, but also gives very clear eschatology from here...and it ain't pretty, unless you hold firm to the truth and live "in the Blessed Hope".

AND NEITHER PARTY HAS ANY HOPE!!! THEY WILL SOON BOTH BE ANCIENT HISTORY!!!!

Think of that when you go to the poles and have to choose between two or three political heretics and punch a card or check a box for the lesser of the evil ones!!! Where will they be in the eschatology? Where will they put their vote when the National SUnday Law becomes an issue? And how will they stand when the death decree is the law of the WORLD??? Will they be in the caves and dungeons or a part of the vast majority of those who will be facing eternal destruction? I will suggest that most of those who have sufficient ego to actually pursue public office, and have substantial enough support, are all part of the problem and offer NO SOLUTIONS!!!

So, I invite you to continue your God given and, now, constitutional Right to banter, but keep it in perspecective that we now have a government that long since lost it's way (Yes, she even warned they would "abrogate the constitution") and does not have anyone's best interest at heart other than those they must swear allegiance to - to propogate their own careers and fantastical pensions. Then look at what they are doing with social security and ask the simple question...ARE THEY GOING TO RELY ON SOCIAL SECURITY FOR THEIR EARLY RETIREMENT PROGRAMS? If not, do they deserve my wasted time, effort and vote?

The answer should then lead you back to the big and little "UNREAD BOOKS" for the clear guidance on what we should be concerned with at this special day and time...

God, His word and the "books" are the only sure thing we can go on now for any stability.  We are instructed to fight for liberty as long as we can and I agree, the time is almost no more. and all the while the "justifications" of "ones own opinions" against the Word, the SP, prevails to high heaven. I can understand the instant tears of the "inspired writer" as this vision was given to her as the last day Adventists and the condition we would be in.

Right again, "the unread books" is so obvious. Nothing anyone can say to penetrate this mind set of disinterest of "last message" for this great time of trouble upon us in minutes or a day or maybe even a year of minutes. which is a very short time.
