Some privileged friends have received this prophetic warning from Danny Shelton. Does it originate from him or is he just passing it on?  Are we to respond by enriching the grocery stores? Will the Lord take care of His own through such tribulations - if they are part of the last 7 plagues?

Dear Brethren,

The Word of God is sending me out into the streets of
the Town again for at least 7 days to warn the people
one last time that they must make straight his paths
to prepare his way; They must correct their way of
Worship, because it is not right before the eyes
of the Lord. What was revealed to me is that there
should be time no longer; The Lord will pour out his
wrath during this winter season.

The wrath of God is these 7 plagues which will
fall upon the earth.  The first plague will
hit the earth this winter on a Sabbath day.
The Sabbath day is the 7th day of the week,
and is holy unto the Lord so that we must
not work on that day, but spend that whole day
with the Lord our God through his Word.

Grevious and painful sores will break out on
the skin when that first plague hit, and people
will just abandon what they are doing, and stores,
shops, and all businesses will close down permanantly.

According to the scriptures, People will be in such a
panick that they will go out into the streets roaming
to and fro seeking answers from the Word of the Lord...
but shall not find it.

Therefore, there will be a spiritual famine,
because of a lack of knowledge of the Word of God,
and there will be a physical famine, because
no one can neither buy nor sell anymore.

As of the 30th-11-2008, i would advice you to go
to the grocery store and buy as much food and
water supplies to last you for at least 5 months
(that is approximately how long the Tribulation will last)

Immediately after this Great Tribulation,..
(that is during the 6th plague) Jesus Christ will
appear in the Clouds and in Great glory with all the
host of Heaven. That day and hour no man knows.
He will come to save us all and bring us into
the Kingdom of God.

For thus it is written that we must first go through
much Tribulation before we enter the Kingdom of God.

He that Forbeareth; Let him Forbear

I don't believe that Danny Shelton wrote this for a several reasons.

1. It doesn't "sound" like something Danny would write.

2. The date 30th-11-2008 is not written the way an American would write it. Danny would likely write 11-30-2008.

3. I think Danny knows the EGW said that the Lord had shown her repeatedly that it is contrary to His will that His people stock up food for the time of trouble.

That's just my opinion:)

I would like to know if it can be shown that it did indeed originate from Danny Shelton for the reason that even I wouldn't be crazy enough to issue such a time specific utterance that says it is all going to happen this coming winter, such as:

1 - The Lord will pour out his wrath during this winter season.
2 - The first plague will hit the earth this winter on a Sabbath day.
3 - As of the 30th-11-2008, i would advice you to go to the grocery store and buy as much food and water supplies to last you for at least 5 months (that is approximately how long the Tribulation will last).
4 - Immediately after this Great Tribulation,.. (that is during the 6th plague) Jesus Christ will
appear in the Clouds and in Great glory with all the host of Heaven. That day and hour no man knows.

Can somebody here who are on the good graces of Danny Shelton, either verify, or refute this as originating from him?

This can be easily verified by forwarding the email to 3ABN and asking them whether Mr. Shelton is the source.

I find the suggestion by Mr. Daryl very strange that

People on this forum do not believe anything posted by such people. Why indulge in such a request when the answer is met with disbelief?

In other words this displays another attempt by Pr. Johann to continue trying to stir up mud.

I have double checked with the person who received this from Danny Shelton - that Danny is at least passing it on, unless someone else is using his computer?

Apart from that I have no speculation.

I've gotten 5 emails like this thus far, the first two from "3ABN," the third and fourth being identical and coming from "Stephen Bohr" and "Danny Shelton" respectively, and this last one.

Perhaps Brother Leroy is the spammer sending these out.

He was not speculating. That email came directly from danny.shelton@3abn.org and there is absolutely no reason for Johann to think it was anyone but Danny. I got the same email and so did many others.

Just a check on the 3ABN website and their Facebook page would indicate that they are making plans for well after November 30.

No one has to be sitting at his computer to send a message from it. I think hijackers do this by infecting a computer with a virus. Then they can send out emails from the infected computer to people in the contact list. When the the contacts open the email it infects their computer. That would probably explain the message from Stephen Bohr if he is in DS's contact list.

You do not have to use the person's computer.  You can subscribe to a service that will send messages out that appear to come from some place that they did not.  In  the lingo of the web those servcies are often called "anonymizers."  Yes, there are two levels of service that one can purchase. The first simply hides the source.   The second level not only hides the source but falsely attributes the message to someone else.  I really do not believe that anyone here can say with certainty that the message came from any specific source.

I have just now received an e-mail from a fake Mickey Mouse - from one of you here on Advent Talk, just to demonstrate how anyone can make a fake address. So this might be what happened - someone faked Danny Shelton.
