The lawsuit was filed in Massachusetts. When one has to conduct court proceedings in a different district for the same lawsuit, one files a miscellaneous case. That's at least how it is done in Michigan and Minnesota.

I am wondering if this subpoena would uncover a particularly sensitive area of information or whether all attempts at discovery will be met with similar actions.

What if they get so successful at quashing that they quash their own lawsuit right out of court??...

Lets sue Joy and Pickle but we won't play fair by the rules of the legal system.  Yeah, yeah, that's it.  We'll sue them and try to ruin them, but when they try to defend themselves and ask for documents we just won't give them any.  Yeah...that's the ticket.  We'll initiate a lawsuit against them but we won't cooperate with it.  Yeah!!

I'm starting to think that Danny Shelton strategizes using the New England Patriots playbook...or...no...the Patriots...VIDEO CAMERAS...yeah...yeah...that's it...that's the ticket...
