John Edwards Admits to Affair, Denies He's Father of Lover's Child
Friday, August 08, 2008

John Edwards has admitted having an affair with Rielle Hunter.
Former presidential hopeful John Edwards admitted to an affair Friday with his former videographer, Rielle Hunter, though he firmly denied tabloid reports that he is the father of her child.

Edwards released a statement late in the day saying he made a "serious error in judgment," after telling ABC News' Nightline in an interview scheduled to be broadcast Friday night that he repeatedly lied about the affair during his failed presidential campaign.

"I made a serious error in judgment and conducted myself in a way that was disloyal to my family and to my core beliefs," Edwards said

Kind of bizarre that the Enquirer broke the story

Maybe, he meant that his lapse was letting the media get hold of the story?

I'm fed up with hearing lame-duck excuses for unacceptable behavior lately.

Edwards sabotaged in song

Edwards Sabotaged In Song? | Who Is Rielle Hunter?

Now that John Edwards has admitted to his affair with "filmmaker" Rielle Hunter, we decided to take a better look at the "Webisodes" she made about him for his failed presidential campaign.

Each one uses a theme song at its end by Boyd Tinsley of the Dave Matthews Band. The song is called "True Reflections." It would seem that Edwards and his staff never listened to the lyrics. It's as damning a choice as Hunter could have selected.

The first verse says it all:

When you look into a mirror
