An easy and tasty summer salad:

Basil Tomatoes


8 Medium Sliced Tomato
4 tbs Olive Oil
2 package fresh Basil, leaves cut
2 Tablespoons Lemon juice
¼ teaspoon Salt
Pinch Garlic Powder


Combine oil, lemon juice, basil and salt. Add tomatoes and evenly coat. Add pinch garlic powder. Chill at least 2 hours.

I am patiently and kindly talking to my tomatoe plants so they do great things. Has been so cold here for June in MN. I think the highest today was around 68 degrees
