The recent effort, endorsed and somehow sanctioned by the North American Division, clearly constitutes outright rebellion against the General Conference in Session.

Since we face another General Conference Session with NAD and two Unions therein in outright rebellion, it is incumbent upon the Spring Council to act decisively. The failure to act against the Columbia Union and the Pacific Union in the Fall Counsel over three years ago has emboldened the rebels. That failure came as a result of a deal purportedly brokered by retired Vice President Mark Finlay. It was reported by several at the council that many of the overseas divisions came "loaded for bear" and Finlay moved decisively to bring about a compromise accord that included the Study Committee and the Report to the General Conference in August of 2015.

In the interim, the rebellion has gained substantial additional as North American Division has now allowed this "new interpretation" booklet to be presented to the entire division in a show of outright endorsement of the Rebellion against the General Conference in Session.

There is little question that there needs to be sanctions taken by the Spring Council and the there must be a challenge to the seating of delegates to the General Conference Session from North American Division, Pacific Union and Columbia Union until the General Conference in Session has resolved the issue and determined the appropriate course for dealing with the outright and deliberately calculated rebellion.

Since this original posting on the General Confernce in Sesion, they have yet met again and further recommended that there is no biblical basis for Women;s Ordination and have voted yet again on the issue,

Jmmedjafely following the GConference in Session, he publicly asserted his open opposition to the General Conference Decision and intended to further resist and allow women's ordination in the North American Division.

THAT PUTS HIM IN OPEN OPPOSITION TO THE GENERAL CONFERENCE IN SESSION...and now subject to the disciplinary action by the General Conference. I have heard rumblings that the Fall Council is expected to take action...FRANKLY, I do not think they have the back-bone to act decisively and do what they should do...Take the credentials of the President of the North American Division.

If the General Conference Fall Session makes no recommendation to the General Conference to discipline this open rebellion, then we must presume that Jr is no chip off the old block and does not have the leadership to deal with this open rebellion. This may be a direct influence of Mark Finlay, but regardless, the failure to deal with this will embolden  open rebellion and lead to anarchy on the issue throughout the NAD!!! Congregations will be left to their discretion on the matter and expect it to lead to open and wholesale rebellion.

I would encourage prayer on the matter but have little faith that the General Conference has the stomach for the fight and expect serious repercussions as a result!!! DIVISION WIDE
