"Unity in the Church" will be the topic on a special edition of 3ABN's Night Light program airing tonight on Three Angels Broadcasting Network at 8:00 p.m. Central Time (UTC-5).

Elder Ted N. C. Wilson, president of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, will be joined by the Hope Channel's Brad Thorp in a program hosted by 3ABN president Jim Gilley and 3ABN founder Danny Shelton.

This new program came about after it became obvious that more time was needed than the original 20 minutes scheduled for tomorrow night's Night Light broadcast that will focus on Spiritual Formation and Contemplative Prayer. This new, one-hour broadcast will be broadcast live over 3ABN's worldwide satellite network and over 127 television stations in the United States as well as 3ABN's full-power stations in the Philippines, Papua New Guinea, and Uganda. It will also be streamed live on 3ABN's website: 3abn.org.

We invite you to watch this special edition of 3ABN's Night Light immediately following our opening night coverage of the Adventist-laymen's Services and Industries (ASI) International Convention. It will also be re-aired on Thursday, August 9, at 10:00 p.m. Central (UTC-5).

True, we need more unity in the church, but it's sad to see Ted Wilson appearing with Danny Shelton.

That is what the news item says, isn't it?

Apparently, yes...

I prefer not to see Danny Shelton on 3ABN whatsoever. but seeing that he is, my next concern is the purpose and function of this telecast and what our GC Leaders have to say about this unity issue resulting from the disunified action of the Columbia Union.

I really don't pay attention to what Danny Shelton has to say.

The issue is not whether we listen to or see Danny Shelton or not, it is the fact that Ted Wilson appears to be supporting 3ABN in appearing with Danny hosting.

What would everyone have thought if Ted Wilson was interviewed by 3ABN in a program hosted by convicted pedophile Tommy Shelton at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, right after Tommy got done playing a piece on the prison piano, if they have a piano? How appropriate would that have been?

It's not a whole lot different to be interviewed by Danny Shelton.
