E.E. Cleveland passed away today.
« on: August 30, 2009, 09:49:56 PM »

I just received word that E.E. Cleveland passed away today. I am very sad because we had worked on a couple of projects together I had gotten to know him. At his wife's graveside in 2005, he was very clear that this is where he will be buried. He too is now resting in the promise of the resurrection.

Back in 1957-8 I attended his public campaign in Washington DC and  I learned much from this great preacher. Later I met him personally as he visited Denmark. Our church was greatly blessed to have this dedicated servant of the Lord.

I remember Elder Cleveland, with Elder Marshall Kelly, conducting a major evangelistic campaign in
Melbourne Australia in 1967, he must have been a good age when he passed away.

Watch as he talks of his own death and resurrection.

Art Humphrey:  This video is from a DVD set that I did with E.E. in 05. He and I talked about this day. He wanted everyone to know the history of his career as an Evangelist. I am sad to see him go. But we have hope in the resurrection.
