Gregory might be right about how it was done but you might also check your computer for a virus if you got one of the Prophetic emails. Or your computer might be sending out these emails under your name too. Just in case it was a virus.

I can attest to the fact that what Gregory posted here can be done.

I have NEVER known Danny Lee Shelton to use 3ABN.org e-mail. He has had his own signatory account for years and all communications I have seen from him were from that account.

Second: I do not believe that Danny Lee Shelton or Steven Bohr believe in this ridiculous prognostication. Where does the five months come from? And what has happened to the false reformation, to be followed by the true reformation. And I see no National Sunday Law in site, let alone an international Sunday Law. It is clear the plagues fall upon those who have missed the FINAL probation period marked by the adoption of the International Sunday Law. This clearly is not Seventh-day Adventist Eschatology!!!

This is a thunderous fake written by someown eschatologically challenged!!!

One would tend to wonder why someone who is so earnest about getting the word of God out would use lies and theft (of someone else's email) to do it. But, considering the email address, one remembers that theft and lies in the process of getting the gospel out are an accepted and fiercely defended modus operandi in some circles.

Who would stoop so low to do this sort of thing and why?

Not disagreeing with you Gailon, but just to add that I think the five months comes from a literal interpretation of the time line in Daniel 12, something that is flourishing in some circles at the moment.

The question now also is who really sent out that email under the name of Danny Shelton?

Will you be able to do some research on that, Daryl?

As I wasn't an actual recipient of that email, only those who actually received the email can do that.

It is called email spoofing. I recieved that email and investigated it because I was already aware that this could be done and suspected it. The recipient has no reason to suspect that the email did not come from the listed sender as all of the "from" information and the return path are correctly shown. Johann's surprise and his question about this is absolutely valid, unlike the silly speculation and nonsense attack at him made by buttercup.

Info about email spoofing can be found at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E-mail_spoofing

Johann,

It was interesting about the date as one poster examined the written date. Someone that put a date down like that very well could have been in military also. My husband never got out of the habit of doing the dates backwards to the rest of us do. Military is the other source. Maybe it did not really come from DS but isn't it strange that once a person has the message and then rejects it that if I recall ,many in EGW writings about individuals and in the Bible that people really do lose their minds afterwards or in the end when they can't be helped anymore. And by all rights --to the evil that has been done. God is not going to use and secure his trust in these devious missions and for us to trust that sort of situation. God help us if he does. We would never believe it.

A member of the U.S. military would have written the date as:  081130 as that is the standard military notation.

It was written in a form that appears to me to be used in some European countries.  But, I could be wroing.
