Benton, Ill. — Christian vocalist Steve Green will perform a concert Sunday, May 8, to benefit efforts for a park in Thompsonville.

The concert is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the 3ABN Worship Center/Thompsonville Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Free 3ABN studio tours will be conducted from 4 to 5 p.m.

A free-will offering will be collected for the community park.

That was nice to offer their faciclities. True enough that it seems to be a bit self serving with the tours, but nice all the same.  Shows they are a apart of their community.

Perhaps it will help make up for all the money Thompsonville (or whomever) had to pay lawyers when 3ABN filed suit over their property taxes. I was told it cost quite a bit.

Are they charging them to use the facilities and/or the tours?  If this is some type of charity event they chould not be chaging to use the facilities.  Now if they have paid tours all the time(which I doubt)....then that is different.
